Ultratech Announces Results of Annual Meeting of Stockholders
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Ultratech, Inc. (Nasdaq: UTEK), a leading supplier of lithography and
laser-processing systems used to manufacture semiconductor devices and
high-brightness LEDs (HB-LEDs), today announced results from its annual
meeting of stockholders held in Santa Clara, California.
The items voted upon included the election of Arthur W. Zafiropoulo,
Michael Child, Joel F. Gemunder, Nicholas Konidaris, Dennis Raney, Henri
Richard, and Rick Timmins to the Board of Directors for terms ending
upon the 2013 annual stockholders' meeting. The company's stockholders
also ratified the appointment of Ernst & Young, LLP, to serve as
independent auditors for the Company during the fiscal year ending
December 31, 2012; approved an amendment to the Certificate of
Incorporation to increase the number of authorized shares of common
stock; and approved the compensation of the Company's named executive
officers.
